We invite you to walk through the Bible together with us, starting with how we got the Bible, what it actually is, how to read it well as God's Word, written in a specific time and culture yet still wonderfully relevant and life-changing for us today.
Then, we begin working through Scripture book by book together over the course of the next two years, discussing core themes and how all of Scripture points to Christ, with weekly fellowship where you can ask all your questions and receive encouragement and support as we study together. Each term will include a read along/listen along guide, so you can read through the Bible over the next two years and practice using what you learn in the class (this is recommended, but not required for the class).

If you've ever felt lost, overwhelmed, frustrated, confused, or like reading the Bible is just dry and you aren't getting why people care about it so much, this class is for you. We will give you the foundation and tools you need to read Scripture well, meet God in His Word, and share some insights that will make studying the Bible so much more rewarding.

This class really is for anyone, whether you are curious about the story of the Bible, have lots of questions and concerns, are a believer who wants more familiarity with Scripture and to grow in your relationship with God, or are a mature follower of Christ who wants good fellowship, to grow their love of Scripture, and to deepen their intimacy with God, this class will serve you well.

And if you can't come to every single session, or if you're reading this after the term has started, no worries - the sessions work well as standalones too, so please come as often as you can to get the most out of these classes.

We mean it when we say: bring your coffee and your questions (or the beverage of your choice. This class is meant to give everyone a space to learn, wrestle, question, and discover with others who are there to do the very same. It's way more fun to walk together, so we hope you'll join us and bring anyone and everyone with you.

Registration Fee is $5, payable however you normally give to Brookswood Church and designated for Discipleship. For more information on how to give to Brookswood Church, please visit the Give page linked in the top menu.

We invite you to join the Rooted Experience this Fall, an 11-week journey with Jesus done in fellowship with a small group. Through Rooted, we learn to live out the 7 Core Rhythms of the Christian life that are recorded in Acts 2: Daily Devotion, Prayer, Repentance, Sacrificial Generosity, Serve the Community, Share Your Story, and Worship. Engaging in these rhythms God established for us help us know Him more intimately, experience the true freedom Jesus offers, mature us as believers, and build healthier fellowship with one another.

The Rooted Experience is designed to give all believers a solid foundation not only in what the Bible says but in how to follow Jesus and live as His apprentices in our every day life. It is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who already is a disciple of Jesus to deepen their walk with Him and build healthy fellowship with others. Rooted is also a fantastic opportunity if you simply want to know more about God, the Bible, Christianity, and if you have a lot of questions.

Registration Fee is $30 for early bird registrations, payable however you normally give to Brookswood Church and designated for Discipleship. For more information on how to give to Brookswood Church, please visit the Give page linked in the top menu.
