SERVE JESUS & THE CHURCH

Our desire for every person at Brookswood is that you are well served and serve well.

Part of belonging to a church family is learning to joyfully serve by helping each other grow in faith and guiding people to live lives transformed by the gospel.

Serving is also one of the best ways to get plugged into the community at Brookswood. Our serve teams get to know one another well and form long-term friendships.

We believe everyone has God-given gifts and talents that can be used to bless others, build up the church and help bring transformation to our community. We also believe that none of us can achieve all that God has called us to do alone. We are better together!

Here is a list of a few of our many volunteer opportunities:

GREETERS & USHERS

Everyone is welcome at Brookswood! There is a place for everyone to be known, to belong and to connect into the life of our church and we want to welcome people as Christ has welcomed all of us, for the glory of God. We strive to reflect the love of Christ to all who enter the doors at Brookswood by nurturing a safe, warm, and inviting atmosphere. We’re seeking friendly people to assist in welcoming, greeting, and ushering people into our church.

KIDS MINISTRY

We’re here to serve the needs of families in a loving and supportive environment that help both the kids and parents to glorify God. Will you sign up to help nurture, and shape these young minds by playing, reading, and loving them?

YOUTH MINISTRY

Brookswood Church is growing a generation of fully devoted youth and young adults who courageously and authentically follow Jesus. We raise tomorrow’s leaders who will bring the good news of Jesus to others, and we’d love to have you help us pray hard, and play hard while forming meaningful and engaging relationships.

WORSHIP TEAM

As we hunger and thirst for the presence of God, we create moments and spaces for people to worship and connect with Him. Using unique gifts and talents, our Brookswood worship team is passionate about seeing people experience the power of the presence of God.

MEDIA/SOUND

The Media Tech Team works behind the scenes to create environments for people to engage God through worship. The tech team helps operate the audio, lighting, and slides. Eager hearts wanted, full training provided.

PHOTO/VIDEO

Are you good with a camera, handy with editing software, or love to be in front of the camera? Let’s talk! We want to share testimonies, share the work of our ministries, missions, and church with everyone!

PRAYER TEAM

We believe in the power of prayer. We value prayer. And we believe that God answers prayer and uses it as a means of achieving His purposes in the church and world. Do you have a passion for prayer, and praying for others? This team is for you.

COFFEE/FOOD SERVICES

Do you like serving “behind-the-scenes” and want to help people connect with new and old friends? Come and experience first-hand how you can help put a smile on someone’s face as you serve them a cup of hot coffee/tea, or provide meaningful service with our community meals.
